The Jamestown Police Department will continue in its efforts to be more open, transparent, and honest with the community. With a number of different programs that we have begun in 2020 and starting in 2021, I am looking forward to continuing the outreach that is necessary to build up trust between the community and police force.”
Mayor Eddie Sundquist stated: “In the most difficult of years, I am extremely proud by the work and service our police officers and staff provided to the City and its residents. I am excited about the community outreach initiatives that Chief Jackson has promoted to help foster a better and more connected relationship between the public and the police force.”
