The City of Jamestown announced today that parks will be opening tomorrow, Friday, April 15. All facilities and bathrooms will be open for use to the public.
City Parks Commission Chair Cindy DiNapoli said in a statement, “On behalf of the Jamestown Parks Commission, I am happy to announce that our wonderful park system will be opening this weekend. After a few years of limited events in our parks, we are excited to host a full slate of activities this year. I encourage all of our residents to come out and enjoy our parks for the season.”
Parks Manager Dan Stone stated, “The parks opening is always a special time of year. With old favorites returning and new programming coming to our parks, I welcome all of the residents and families to take advantage of our over 500 acres of parkland this season.”
