- Assesses current property values and files annual reports with the State Board of Equalization & Assessment.
- Files and maintains current tax maps.
- Prepares reports of assessment activities on all parcels of land within the City.
- Makes changes in assessments in accordance with New York State & Federal Tax Laws.
- Reviews applications for tax exemptions and currently administers the STAR Program.
